I usually tell people that I'm not really a photographer, I'm an artist that understands photography. I'm also a gear geek. I do manage a video and photography studio but I really dove into photography to capture the images I wanted for my artwork. I learned the technical sided of the craft from the photographers in my studio, by watching closely and asking lots of questions. This continued to make me a better videographer, where I was more experienced. I got obsessed with the gear and learning how to get the most out of it and use it in a variety of applications – from landscapes, to portraits and commercial applications.
